2009 Spring Benefit

Sharon & Michael DeAscentis of New Albany welcomed 125 guests to their home for the Spring Benefit for The Homeless Families Foundation. Guests enjoyed songs by the Children's Chorus of the Dowd Education Center. Board member Lou Seipel presented on the importance of early training for the children. More than $120,000 was raised to help provide shelter, support, nurturing and stability to homeless families as they work to re-establish in the community. Tickets were $300.

This event is a major fundraiser to benefit the innocent victims of homelessness – the children and their families as they acquire and maintain permanent housing. The event provides major funds for the Dowd Education Center serving children K-Middle School.
