During the year 2010

• 217 families were sheltered at HFF; 287 adults and 470 children

• 89 percent of the children served were under the age of 12

• The average age of a child served by HFF was 7 years old

• 85 percent of our families had positive housing outcomes

• 170 new households were served

• 169 school-aged children participated in more than 41,000 hours of tutoring, enrichment and homework help in after-school and summer programs at the Dowd Education Center

• 89.9% of  our kids increased their math skills and 77.6% improved or maintained their reading skills
