Housing Assistance

The Homeless Families Foundation has a Housing Liaison that works with landlords throughout Columbus to find available affordable housing for the families served by HFF.  The Housing Liaison also works closely with the Case Managers to meet the needs of the families.  The new rapid re-housing model for serving homeless families creates the need for more housing, sooner. 

Case Managers at HFF are now working with a rapid re-housing model that moves families directly into permanent housing and continues to provide case management and support until they become stable in the housing.  The new model allows us to meet our “Housing First” goal and still provide excellent holistic case management.
